Remarks:
Route 328 in the area between Dat Do and Xuyen Moc, Phuc Tuy
Province. Bridge was setup over the Suoi Cau Gia River at GR
YS629654 for the return of 1 ATF (Forward) from FSPB Lion (Operation
Capitol).

Nov 1968
"...Worked the 0100-0700
packed my kit and left with 3 Tp for highway 328 to put a bridge
in. Went in convoy of APCs. I acted a Sig Comms for Tp to
CP. A super hook chopper brought the bridge in. Camped the night
out. Ate Yank rations - good stuff. Kept the net open till
2100. Fired DF mortars around the wire at stand-to. Had four
tanks, grunts, APCs and M60 - got fire power..."

Nov 1968
"...Stand-to
0600-0630. Finished the bridge off. Convoy 1ATF came thru at
1030, Yank tanks, guns, our tanks, trucks. About 60
vehicles. Chopper came in at 1230 and took the bridge away and we
left at 1300. Took a few photos enroute in Dat Do. Had
tropical Storm at Nui Dat. Worked 1900-0100 shift..."
