Note:  Three APC's were used in mine clearance 'Flint', 'George' and 'Steele'.  They had a blast shield fitted to the rear and a boom was hung from the right hand side with tyres on it.

Bulldozer used for mine clearing operations

Note:  Bulldozer 48A was used for mine clearing also.  It was fitted with a full armoured cabin and viewing periscopes.  The radiator and hydraulic lines were also armoured against damage.

Note:  Bulldozers like 'Wild Cat' were used for land clearing and was fitted with either a 'Rome Plough' or 'Bull Blade' and was only armoured around the driver.

Note:  Three APCs 'HMAPC Flint', 'HMAPC Steele' and 'HMAPC George' were used in mine clearing operations.  HMAPC Flint, the original 'Bukoo Boom Boom' was fully restored after the war and is in the RAE Museum.
